Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. Gov. Hogan, the American Dental Association (ADA), and Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA) have given the green light to open dental offices as of May 7, 2020. We, here at EJM Dental Studio, have been able to obtain all the necessary PPE and ready to take care of you in a safe and comfortable environment.
While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Our office has always followed and will continue to adhere to the infection control recommendations made by the ADA, CDC, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. For example:
Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You will be asked to stay in your car as you arrive for your appointment. If it is necessary to postpone your appointment due to the responses, we will let you know.
At this time, we will not be allowing anyone in the waiting room. We will be meeting you at the door with hand sanitizer and will be taking your temperature and will take you directly into your treatment suite. This also means that ONLY patients are allowed inside at this time.

We screen each of our team members before even allowing any patients inside our practice to ensure that we are symptom-free before treating patients
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
We are still open to pick up products and pay on your account. Please call us and we will assist you with the process.
As advised by ADA, we are implementing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) fee temporarily during this pandemic. This fee is to help offset the cost of our supplies due to the extremely high demand. We are keeping the fee as low as possible and submitting to your insurance, we hope some of them will pay. The cost is $10/per appointment.
